Hypnotised
“Hypnotised: A Journey Through Trance Music (1990-2005)” is the first encyclopaedia to cover the global trance movement during its most prolific years. The title spans a discography of supposedly essential releases, albums and labels, alongside stories of influential artists and label owners. I developed this 332-page book from start to end - covering all aspects including concepting, research, interviewing, writing and partnerships.
Results
- Realisation of encylopedia book and compilation series, with several thousand physical items being sold.
- Writings for international media such as Beatport, DJ Mag, Ransom Note and Resident Advisor.
- Contributions to acclaimed platforms such as Pitchfork and The New York Times.
